The Godot Foundation is organizing their annual GodotCon conference centered around the MIT-Licensed Godot Engine in Munich this November and needs you to support the realisation of an unforgettable event.
The GodotCon will take place on 4th and 5th November at the Microsoft Germany headquarters in Munich. These two days will be packed with talks, Godot games, workshops, and the chance to meet fellow Godot contributors in person! There’s something for everyone, no matter if beginner or experienced Godot user. Famous names from the industry will also be there!

You now have a distinctive chance to support this conference, which offers a remarkable developer relations and marketing opportunity. This opportunity comes with the added advantage of relatively low investment.
To enable a event for about 300 participants we need to gather some funds, mainly for the venue, security, catering, swag and perks, speaker support, etc.
Even though the exact amount of money needed for the event may vary, we typically estimate a base cost ranging from around €10,000 to €15,000. However, we are confident that with a budget of €20,000 or more, we can create an unforgettable event. Sponsorship tiers are divided into three categories: Hero, Supporter, and Sponsor. The idea behind this system is that the more you invest, the greater the possibilities for exclusive sponsorship options become:
Tier 1 - Hero is for Developers who want to advertise their games and support the event. In return you can showcase your games or other advertisements on screen in a video rotation on the venue or via a roll up banner. Starts at 150€.
Tier 2 - Supporter is for companies that want to stand out at the event. Supporters have the opportunity to display their logos on the event’s website or blog posts. Starts at 1,000€.
Tier 3 - Sponsor is for companies that want to strenghten the open source community and be presented as a sponsor. Your logo will be printed on the attendee’s ticket lanyards. More advanced benefits range from twitter shoutouts and special thanks during the event to a talk on the center stage or private meeting rooms exclusively for your company. Starts at 5,000€.
